Why people come to coaching
Fertility and reproductive health challenges can feel all‑consuming. They can dominate your thinking, drain your energy and leave you feeling as if you’ve lost control of your own life. Some weeks move fast; others are long periods of waiting. Both can be difficult in different ways, especially when the emotional load sits alongside work, relationships and everything else you’re trying to manage.
People come to me when they want steadier thinking, clearer focus and support with the emotional and practical realities of treatment and day‑to‑day symptoms. My coaching gives you rare space to slow down, step back from the noise and make sense of what’s happening — a steady place when life feels anything but steady.
You get a calm, grounded space to think and speak openly, without judgement or managing anyone else’s reactions. We work on what matters to you and what you need right now: deciding on treatment, managing appointments alongside work, choosing who to talk to, or dealing with the uncertainty that runs through all of it. My role is to help you think clearly, stay centred and move through this stage with more confidence and capacity.
Coaching helps you regain clarity, confidence and capacity. It supports you when the emotional load is heavy and helps you reconnect with a sense of control, so you can move forward with more confidence and calm.
My Story
My fertility journey began after an unexpected health diagnosis, which led to further investigations and a diagnosis of PCOS. I was advised to freeze embryos before starting treatment, assuming we’d return to them and things would fall into place. They didn’t.
Over several years we moved through IUI, IVF, frozen embryo transfers and repeated testing. Some cycles didn’t work, some embryos weren’t viable, and much of the time was spent waiting — for results, next steps, or clarity. Midway through, we also learned there was a male‑factor issue, adding another layer of complexity and decision‑making.
Throughout this, I was working in senior HR roles. Many days began with scans or blood tests before heading into meetings where no one knew what was happening behind the scenes. Hormone treatment, disrupted sleep and a body that didn’t feel like mine ran alongside managing work, planning around treatment windows and trying everything that might help.
There were moments of hope followed by sharp loss. One transfer worked, but the pregnancy ended. I miscarried before the end of the first trimester. We continued. A later transfer worked and our son was born exactly one year to the day after the procedure connected to that loss. We later tried IVF again without success, and then, unexpectedly, I became pregnant and we had our daughter.
Nearly four years of treatment, uncertainty, grief, waiting, exhaustion and eventual joy have shaped how I understand this experience.
I share this because it informs how I coach. I understand:
-
the weight of making decisions when you’re depleted
-
how isolating it can be to carry this quietly, particularly at work
-
the emotional whiplash of waiting, hoping, losing and starting again
-
how easily boundaries slip when you’re vulnerable
-
the strain this can place on relationships, identity and confidence
My experience allows me to meet clients with clarity, calm and honesty. I understand the language of clinics, the logistics of treatment and the emotional realities of navigating this alongside work and life. I coach with steady support, practical grounding and gentle, direct challenge — helping clients think clearly, make decisions that feel right for them, and move through this process with more confidence.

What we might work on together
Living with fertility or reproductive health challenges can bring symptoms, shifting routines, decisions and emotion that can be a lot to carry on your own. Coaching gives you space to think clearly, understand what matters to you and make decisions at a pace that feels manageable. You set the priorities. My role is to give you a calm space to slow down, work things through and choose what feels right for you.
